SITE ACCESS REQUIREMENTS FOR DRIVERS
For safety reasons all persons accessing our site must wear a flame retarding (EN531) and antistatic (EN 1149) overall.
If product specifications require chemical protective clothing these must have the following minimum specifications: Liquid tight (type 3) as well as spray tight (type 4). This suit must be worn in addition to above mentioned overall ! The chemical protective clothing must be flame retarding (EN533) and Antistatic (EN1149) as well.
If product specifications require use of respiratory protection devices, drivers with beards will not be permitted on our terminal.
A. Paper work required for site access:
The driver must provide documentation showing:
- Place to load / unload
- Product name and code if required
- Order number
- Loading/unloading quantity which has to be loaded
- After instruction on the safe practices on the site, the following documents are issued
- Internal order for loading/unloading
- Permit for site access
B. Legislation checks:
- Most checks are ADR checks or checks to domestic traffic regulations
- Drivers identification papers are required

D. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to be provided by driver.
Following PPE should be available and must be worn if indicated:
- Minimum package
- Clothing: arms, legs, and body covered
- Safety shoes, safety helmet and safety glasses with side protection or chemical goggles
- Gloves, fit for purpose
- Additional package
- All PPE mentioned in the transport emergency card is mandatory
- All PPE supplied by the relevant company must be worn
- Other PPE can be made mandatory by contract
E. Physical fitness of driver
Absolutely no loading / unloading will take place if it is apparent that the driver is:
- Under the influence of alcohol, medicine or drugs
- Noticeably Fatigued
- For safety reasons all drivers must be able to communicate in dutch, english, german or french at a reasonable and understandable level
F. Codes for responsible behavior:
Obligations:
- Follow instructions of company personnel and respect the site procedure and warning signs
- Request permission prior to entering plants and prior to conduct activities
- Respect maximum speed limits and traffic signs and follow indicated routes
- Park only where allowed and switch off the engine
- Respect "Engine Stop" signs during gas or fire alarms
- All communication tools, except GPS should be switched off (GSM, 27MC)
- Keep the working area clean and accessible
Prohibitions:
- Possession or use of alcohol, drugs or weapons
- Criminal activities, such as theft
- Smoking on site, unless where specifically permitted
- Use of camera's, video's etc.
- Unauthorized passengers or animals
G. Truck loading requirements:
- Elaflex 3" female connection
The standard opening hours at Standic for the (un) loading of trucks are: Monday until Friday: 07:00 until 16:00h. If a truck should be (un-) loaded after 16:00, a request for overtime can be made by contacting our customer service department:
